BlindStairs Joins the WomenTech EU 2025 Cohort

We’re proud to share that our CEO and co-founder, Marta Rodríguez-Tobalo, has been selected in the third call of the WomenTech EU program, a European initiative that empowers deep-tech companies led by women. In the 2025 edition, the program received 1,038 applications from 43 eligible countries and selected 40 winners from 13 countries.

At BlindStairs, we put people first in every decision we design. This principle is reflected in Merified—our AI-powered hiring assistant that brings the UnbiasAI framework into daily operations: anonymized early-stage applications by default, skill-centric profile enrichment, and explainable, auditable recommendations with clear human-in-the-loop checkpoints. The approach is designed to widen talent pools, reduce bias, and align with European expectations on transparency and human oversight.

We’re honored to represent Barcelona in this community of visionary founders and will keep advancing ethical AI that widens opportunity and strengthens inclusion. 🤝
